Hai semuanya. Beberapa hari yang lalu aku lagi main ke mall dan lewatin Watsons. Gak ada rencana mau masuk ke dalem sih karena lagi gak ada yang mau dibeli, tapi di depan ada tulisan promo untuk micellar waternya yang botolnya gede itu. Kayaknya diskon 40-50% deh dari harga Rp 90.000-an jadi Rp 50.000-an. Tempting banget kan, akhirnya aku masuk deh dan beli dua botol haha. 

Hey guys. A few days ago I was going to a mall and passing by Watsons. I don't have anything to buy there so I'll just pass trough it, but in front of the store there's a promo of their micellar water, that one with big bottle. I think the discount is 40-50% from price around IDR 90.000 to just IDR 50.000. What a deal right, so I just go in and buy two bottles of it haha.

Micellar water mereka itu namanya Watsons Cleansing Water dan yang aku baru beli yang jenis Gentle & Mild. Sebelumnya aku sudah pernah beli yang jenis Fresh & Soft. Aku mau review kedua micellar water Watsons ini dan share ke kalian yang aku rasakan karena reaksi keduanya di kulit aku yang kombinasi ini berbeda.

Their micellar water named Watsons

Cleansing Water and the one I just bought is the Gentle & Mild type. Before I have bought the Fresh & Soft type. I want to review both of this Watsons micellar water and share with you what I feel because both give different reactions on my combination skin.

Dari packaging aja udah kelihatan bedanya ya. Yang Fresh & Soft botolnya seperti tabung silinder yang lingkarannya perfect, sedangkan Gentle & Mild botolnya lebih pipih and tinggi. Walaupun keliatannya beda tapi isinya sama-sama 485ml kok. Botolnya memiliki pump dan terbuat dari material plastik.

From the packaging you already can see the difference. The Fresh & Soft is in cylinder tube bottle with perfect round shape, while the Gentle & Mild bottle is thinner and taller. Even though the shape is different but the contents are both 485ml. The bottle has a pump and made from plastic material.

Dibagian belakang botolnya kalian bisa lihat semua detail mengenai Watsons Cleansing Water. Aku baru ngeh kalau yang Fresh & Soft ternyata Made in Indonesia dan yang Gentle & Mild ini Made in Thailand.

On the back of the bottle you can see details of Watsons Cleansing Water. I just realized that the Fresh & Soft is Made in Indonesia and the Gentle & Mild is Made in Thailand.

Kesamaan dari kedua Watsons Cleansing Water ini adalah mengandung Hyaluronic Acid yang dapat mengunci kelembaban kulit dan tentunya sudah Dermatologically Tested. Kalau bedanya?

Bedanya, Watsons Cleansing Water Fresh & Soft mengandung Aloe Vera dan bebas dari paraben, sabun, minyak, dan pewarna. Sedangkan Watsons Cleansing Water Gentle & Mild mengandung Witch Hazel Extract dan bebas dari alkohol, pewangi, paraben, sabun, minyak, dan pewarna. Jadi memang sesuai namanya, setelah dipakai yang Fresh & Soft bikin kulit terasa lebih segar dan yang Gentle & Mild lebih ringan di kulit. 

Keduanya cocok untuk kulit sensitif karena Aloe Vera dan Witch Hazel dapat meredakan peradangan dan menenangkan kulit.

What similar from this Watsons Cleansing Water, both contains Hyaluronic Acid that can keep your skin moisture and of course already Dematologically Tested. How about the difference? Well, Watsons Cleansing Water Fresh & Soft contains Aloe Vera and free from parabens, soap, oil, and colourants. While Watsons Cleansing Water Gentle & Mild contains Witch Hazel and free from alcohol, fragrance, parabens, soap, oil, and colourants. So as the name, the Fresh & Soft makes my skin feels refreshed and the Gentle & Mild feels light on skin.

Both suitable for sensitive skin because Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel are known for relieve inflammation and soothe the skin.

Tekstur Watsons Cleansing Water seperti micellar water pada umumnya, seperti air biasa tapi lebih lembut di kulit, dan tentunya bisa membersihkan makeup di wajah :) Karena yang jenis Fresh & Soft mengandung pewangi, jadi ada sedikit wangi aloe vera yang fresh. Kalau yang Gentle & Mild tidak mengandung pewangi dan wanginya sedikit mirip chamomile, mungkin wangi witch hazelnya kali ya.

Watsons Cleansing Water Texture is like general micellar water, just like a normal water but feels softer on skin and of course can remove makeups on your face :) Because the Fresh & Soft type contains fragrance, there's fresh aloe vera scent hint on it. For the Gentle & Mild type, it doesn't contain fragrance and smells like chamomile, or maybe it's the witch hazel scent.

Keduanya membersihkan makeup di wajahku dengan baik, termasuk makeup yang waterproof. Micellar water aman dan dapat digunakan di semua bagian wajah termasuk mata dan bibir. 

Both perfectly cleans makeup on my face, including waterproof makeup. Micellar water is safe and can be used for all face area including eyes and lips.

Nah, bagaimana reaksi kedua micellar water ini di wajahku?

Watsons Cleansing Water Fresh & Soft membuat kulitku terasa lebih segar setelah menghapus makeup, tapi karena mengandung alkohol, saat mukaku lagi merah-merah dan banyak jerawat kulitku terasa sedikit perih gitu. Maklum, kulit wajahku rawan berjerawat dan sensitif. Sebenarnya aku malah suka kalau pakai produk kulit yang mengandung alkohol karena bisa menyeimbangkan produksi minyak berlebih di wajah, tapi karena kulitku sensitif jadi kadang ada rasa perih di kulit. Jenis ini cocok untuk kulit kombinasi dan beminyak. Tapi aku tidak sarankan untuk yang wajahnya bermasalah dengan jerawat dan kemerahan seperti aku.

So, how does both of this micellar water works on my skin?

Watsons Cleansing Water Fresh & Soft makes my skin feels fresh after removing my makeup, but because it contains alcohol, when my skin got redness and a lot of pimples it feels like burning. My skin is acne prone and sensitive but actually I like using skin care products that contain alcohol to balance excess oil production on skin, but because of my sensitive skin sometimes there's burns feeling. This type suitable for combination and oily skin, but I don't suggest it for you who has acne prone and redness skin problem like me.

Watsons Cleansing Water Gentle & Mild membuat kulitku tetap lembut dan lembab setelah menghapus makeup. Bahkan saat kulitku lagi bermasalah yang Gentle & Mild ini tidak ada rasa perih di kulitku sama sekali. Sepertinya aku harus mulai menghindari produk kulit wajah yang mengandung alkohol, walaupun sensasinya di kulit itu bikin kecanduan hehe. Jenis ini bisa digunakan untuk semua jenis kulit termasuk kulit yang kering dan normal.

Watsons Cleansing Water Gentle & Mild keep my skin soft and moist after removing makeup. Even on my troubled skin the Gentle & Mild doesn't give burns feel at all. I guess it's time to avoid skin care products with alcohol contained, although the sensation on skin is very addicting hehe. This type suitable for all skin type including dry and normal skin.

Kalau ditanya akan beli Watsons Cleansing Water lagi atau nggak, pasti aku bakal beli lagi kok, pas diskon pastinya hihi dan yang pasti jenis Gentle & Mild karena lebih cocok di kulitku daripada yang Fresh & Soft.

If you ask will I repurchase the Watsons Cleansing Water or not, surely I will, when it's on discount of course hihi and definitely the Gentle & Mild type because it's more suitable on my skin rather than the Fresh & Soft one.
